Davidus Damora was the former king of Limeros, father to King Gaius. He was beloved by the Limerian people, a wise and benevolent ruler, but was regarded by his own family as weak. Ultimately, he was murdered by his son, Gaius, who slipped poison into his drink. To spare her son from the blame of tis treasonous act, Selia, the king's wife, confessed to committing the wicked deed. It was for this reason that she was banished from the castle and exiled to The Reaches, a frozen Limerian wasteland located far east of the main Limerian populace.
